URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Boston/Norton MA 1136 PM EST Fri Jan 30 2026 ...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST SATURDAY... * WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 19 below. * WHERE...Portions of northern Connecticut, central, eastern, northeastern, southeastern, and western Massachusetts, and northern Rhode Island. * WHEN...Until 10 AM EST Saturday. * IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
