URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Gaylord MI 258 AM EST Fri Feb 6 2026 ...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 9 AM EST SATURDAY... * WHAT...Air temperatures 0 to 10 below zero, and wind chills as cold as 15 to 25 below zero. * WHERE...Portions of Eastern Upper and Northern Lower Michigan. * WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 9 AM EST Saturday. * IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Use caution while outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors.
