URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Boston/Norton MA 1242 PM EST Sun Feb 8 2026 ...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 10 AM EST MONDAY... ...EXTREME COLD WARNING WILL EXPIRE AT 1 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 15 below expected with 20 below possible in the highest elevations. * WHERE...Portions of northern Connecticut and central and western Massachusetts. * WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 10 AM EST Monday. * IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
