Flood Advisory National Weather Service Los Angeles/Oxnard CA 109 AM PST Wed Feb 11 2026 ...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM PST EARLY THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of southwest California, including the following county, Los Angeles. * WHEN...Until 500 AM PST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 102 AM PST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rainfall falling across eastern Ventura County and moving into west central Los Angeles County. Rainfall rates with this lines are ranging between 0.25 inch and 0.50 inch per hours with local rates up to around 0.75 inch per hour. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. - Local law enforcement is reporting flooding on area roadways, including Interstates 5, 10, and 710. Creeks, streams, and dry washes may be flowing. Roadway flooding and ponding on pavement surfaces will create hazardous driving conditions. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Pasadena, Alhambra, Duarte, Azusa, Monrovia, Whittier, Montebello, El Monte, Mount Wilson, West Covina, Diamond Bar, Walnut, Burbank, Glendale, Downtown Los Angeles, North Hollywood. - Minor debris flows may be occurring in and around the recent burn scars, such as the Eaton and Palisades burn scars. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
