Special Weather Statement National Weather Service Melbourne FL 525 AM EST Thu Feb 12 2026 ...PATCHY DENSE FOG POSSIBLE ACROSS PORTIONS OF INDIAN RIVER, SAINT LUCIE, AND MARTIN COUNTIES THIS MORNING... Observations, traffic cameras and satellite imagery indicate that patchy dense fog is developing across portions of Indian River, Saint Lucie, and Martin counties this morning. Localized visibilities of a half-mile or less will be possible. Any fog should diminish near to soon after 9 or 10 AM. Motorists should be alert for sudden changes in visibility. When encountering fog, slow down, increase following distance, and use low-beam headlights.
