Special Weather Statement National Weather Service Gaylord MI 437 PM EST Sun Feb 15 2026 ...Dense fog along part of the Lake Michigan coast... Dense fog has been gradually making inroads from Lake Michigan into coastal areas of northern Michigan late this afternoon. At 430 pm, dense fog is being reported at Charlevoix and Harbor Springs, with visibilities of a quarter mile or less. Locally dense fog will continue into this evening along part of the Lake Michigan coast. If you encounter dense fog while traveling, use low beam headlights and increase following distance.
