Special Weather Statement National Weather Service Wakefield VA 703 PM EST Thu Feb 19 2026 ...PATCHY DENSE FOG IN SE VA AND NE NC... Cameras and observations indicate that patchy dense fog has developed in Southeastern Virginia and Northeast North Carolina. Visibilities will average between one half and two miles, but could drop to less than a mile at times. The fog will persist for at least late tonight into early tomorrow morning. Motorists should be alert for sudden changes in visibility due to the areas of fog. Drive at reduced speeds and use low beam headlights only.
