For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as low as 22 expected. * WHERE...Volusia, Inland Indian River, Inland Northern Brevard, Inland Saint Lucie, Inland Southern Brevard, Mainland Northern Brevard, Okeechobee, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, and Lake. * WHEN...From 2 AM to 9 AM EST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Very cold temperatures can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure. Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. Ensure portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills inside. Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
