Total snow accumulations of 10 to 13 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph near downtown Juneau and Douglas. * WHERE...Glacier Bay, Eastern Chichagof Island, Cape Fairweather to Lisianski Strait and City and Borough of Juneau. * WHEN...From 3 AM Tuesday to noon AKST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult and is discouraged unless it is an emergency. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heaviest snowfall rates are expected Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday morning, with snowfall rates of an inch an hour possible. Gusty winds around downtown Juneau and Douglas could cause some areas of blowing snow. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
