Special Weather Statement National Weather Service Wakefield VA 533 AM EST Thu Mar 5 2026 ...AREAS OF FOG EARLY THIS MORNING ACROSS THE LOWER EASTERN SHORE... Fog has moved onshore from the ocean early this morning across the lower eastern shore. Visibilities average between one quarter to one half mile, but may be locally reduced to less than one quarter mile at the immediate coast. Visibilities are expected to gradually improve after 8 AM this morning. If conditions worsen, a Dense Fog Advisory may be issued. If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
