URGENT - FIRE WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Denver/Boulder CO 1154 PM MDT Tue Mar 10 2026 ...FIRE WEATHER WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY MORNING THROUGH LATE THURSDAY NIGHT FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR THE WESTERN PARTS OF THE URBAN CORRIDOR... * AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 238 and 239. * TIMING...From Thursday morning through late Thursday night. * WINDS...West 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 80 mph near the base of the foothills. West 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 50 mph closer to the I-25 corridor. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 13 percent. * IMPACTS...Conditions will be favorable for rapid fire spread. Avoid outdoor burning and any activity that may produce a spark and start a wildfire. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
