URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac MI 135 PM EDT Sat Mar 14 2026 ...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM SUNDAY TO MIDNIGHT SUNDAY NIGHT... * WHAT...South winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts 45 to 50 mph in the afternoon. * WHERE...Southeast Michigan along and south of the I-69 corridor, including metro Detroit to the Ohio border. * WHEN...From 11 AM Sunday to midnight Sunday Night. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will be capable of damaging unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Another round of high wind occurs closely after the Friday wind event, possibly affecting ongoing power restoration efforts, and adding to tree and infrastructure vulnerability.
