URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Great Falls MT 1221 PM MDT Sat Mar 14 2026 ...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM MDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations up to 3 inches. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph. * WHERE...Big Belt, Bridger and Castle Mountains, Elkhorn and Boulder Mountains, Helena Valley, and Meagher County Valleys. * WHEN...Until 6 PM MDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Plan for snowpacked and slippery roads. Snow and blowing snow may significantly reduce visibility at times on Saturday. Tire chains may be required for some vehicles if traveling through mountain passes.
