URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Norman OK 138 AM CDT Sun Mar 15 2026 ...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM THIS MORNING TO 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Northwest winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 65 mph expected. * WHERE...Portions of central, northern, northwest, southern, southwest, and western Oklahoma and northern Texas. * WHEN...From 7 AM this morning to 7 PM CDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Damaging winds may blow down trees and power lines. Sporadic power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution if you must drive.
