URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Peachtree City GA 1054 AM EDT Mon Mar 16 2026 ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 11 PM EDT THURSDAY... * WHAT...Scattered snow showers are expected to bring pockets of brief heavy snowfall which may accumulate on grass and elevated surface. Roadways remain warm enough that impacts to travel are not expected at this time. Gusty winds and heavier snow showers may result in brief reductions in visibility as low as a quarter mile. * WHERE...Portions of north Georgia. * WHEN...From 11 AM to 11 PM EDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...The hazardous conditions will impact the Thursday evening commute. Use caution when driving, should visibility be impacted due to blowing snow. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Road surface remain above 40 degrees with subsurface temperatures above 60 degrees.
