URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Fort Worth TX 1152 AM CDT Mon Mar 16 2026 ...FREEZE WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO 9 AM CDT TUESDAY... * WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 26 expected. * WHERE...North and Central Texas * WHEN...From 3 AM to 9 AM CDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Highly urban areas like DFW may hover just above freezing overnight in some areas. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. Freeze Warnings are issued in the spring when a late-season freeze is expected after the growing season has begun.
