As additional precipitation spreads across the area this afternoon and evening, periods of snow may mix with rain, or transition to primarily snow, at times. Some locations may see a dusting to one-half inch of snow primarily on grassy or elevated surfaces. Minimal travel impacts are expected outside of reduced visibilities under the heaviest precipitation. For tonight into Tuesday morning, there is potential for residual moisture on area roadways to freeze into black ice and result in slick spots. Take caution on your morning commutes.
