.Water from heavy rains over the weekend continue to move into and through the river systems. Minor flooding is occuring along sections of the Muskegon River as well as the Grand River. Flood conditions will begin to improve in the next day or two.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
