Flood Advisory National Weather Service Honolulu HI 700 PM HST Thu Mar 19 2026 ...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 PM HST THIS EVENING FOR THE ISLAND OF OAHU IN HONOLULU COUNTY... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...The island of Oahu in Honolulu County. * WHEN...Until 915 PM HST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding on roads, poor drainage areas, and in streams. River or stream flows are elevated. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 657 PM HST, radar indicated heavy rain over the island of Oahu. Rain was falling at a rate of 0.5 to 1.5 inches per hour. Heavier showers are currently developing along a convective cloud band just west of Oahu in the Kauai Channel. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... the entire island of Oahu. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Stay away from streams, drainage ditches and low lying areas prone to flooding. A Flood Watch is also in effect for the state of Hawaii through Sunday afternoon HST. && This advisory may need to be extended beyond 915 PM HST if flooding persists.
