URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Fairbanks AK 515 AM AKDT Tue Mar 24 2026 ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 10 AM AKDT THURSDAY... * WHAT...Blowing snow expected. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. * WHERE...Northwest Arctic Coast, especially Point Hope. * WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 10 AM AKDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Travel may be difficult. Periods of blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility to 1/2 mile or less at times. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The highest winds are expected from late Wednesday morning through Wednesday night.
