URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Billings MT 854 AM MDT Wed Apr 1 2026 ...WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY EVENING THROUGH FRIDAY AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Periods of heavy snow. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 7 inches possible, greatest over the hills south of the Yellowstone River. * WHERE...Northeastern Yellowstone, Northern Big Horn, Southwestern Yellowstone, Treasure, and Northern Rosebud. * WHEN...From Thursday evening through Friday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult due to snow, areas of blowing snow and poor visibility. This includes I-94 from Custer to Hysham and Forsyth.
