Flood Watch National Weather Service Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO 1149 PM CDT Wed Apr 1 2026 ...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of Kansas, including the following areas, Johnson KS, Leavenworth, Linn KS, Miami and Wyandotte and Missouri, including the following areas, Adair, Bates, Caldwell, Carroll, Cass, Chariton, Clay, Clinton, Cooper, Henry, Howard, Jackson, Johnson MO, Lafayette, Linn MO, Livingston, Macon, Pettis, Platte, Randolph, Ray and Saline. * WHEN...Through Thursday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall will continue through early Thursday morning across much of central Missouri and far eastern Kansas.
