URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Caribou ME 747 PM EDT Sat Apr 4 2026 ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO NOON EDT SUNDAY... * WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations up to two inches and sleet accumulations up to 1 inch. Ice accumulations up to one tenth of an inch. Southeast winds gusting as high as 40 mph. * WHERE...Northeast Aroostook and Northwest Aroostook Counties. * WHEN...From midnight tonight to noon EDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties.
