Flood Statement National Weather Service Gaylord MI 1021 AM EDT Fri Apr 17 2026 ...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT SUNDAY... * WHAT...Historic flooding caused by rain and snowmelt continues. * WHERE...A portion of northern Michigan, including the following counties, Cheboygan and Emmet. * WHEN...Until 800 PM EDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Historic flooding is occurring following recent heavy rainfall and snowmelt. Roads and structures near lakes and rivers will continue to see high water levels and potential wash outs. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1021 AM EDT, ongoing historic flooding is being experienced across the area and will likely continue for the next several days.
