WATCH COUNTY NOTIFICATION FOR WATCHES 128/129 NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LA CROSSE WI 1243 PM CDT FRI APR 17 2026 The National Weather Service has issued tornado watch 129 until 8 PM CDT this evening which replaces a portion of severe thunderstorm watch 128. the new watch is valid for the following areas in minnesota the new watch includes 7 counties in southeast minnesota dodge fillmore houston mower olmsted wabasha winona in wisconsin the new watch includes 8 counties in central wisconsin adams clark juneau in west central wisconsin buffalo jackson la crosse monroe trempealeau this includes the cities of alma, arcadia, austin, black river falls, caledonia, dodge center, friendship, la crosse, mauston, neillsville, preston, rochester, sparta, tomah, wabasha, whitehall, and winona.
