Flood Watch National Weather Service Grand Rapids MI 137 PM EDT Sun Apr 19 2026 ...FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR THE POTENTIAL FAILURE OF HESPERIA DAM ON THE WHITE RIVER REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH MONDAY MORNING... * WHAT...Flash Flooding caused by a potential dam or levee failure continues to be possible at the Hesperia Dam. * WHERE...A portion of west central Michigan, including the following county, Oceana. * WHEN...Through Monday morning. * IMPACTS...Dam failure may result in flash flooding of low-lying areas below the dam. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - High flows will continue as runoff from recent heavy rains move down the river. River levels will slowly come down this week as no significant rain is expected. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
