Coastal Hazard Message National Weather Service Honolulu HI 320 PM HST Fri May 15 2026 ...MINOR COASTAL FLOODING ON ALL ISLANDS DURING HIGH TIDES THIS WEEKEND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK... .Peak monthly high tides combined with water levels that will be running higher than predicted will lead to minor flooding along the shoreline and in low-lying coastal areas. Coastal flooding is possible around the daily peak tides, which will occur during the late afternoon hours. ...COASTAL FLOOD STATEMENT REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM EARLY SATURDAY THROUGH MONDAY AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Isolated minor coastal flooding expected. * WHERE...Vulnerable low-lying coastal roadways, docks, boat ramps and other coastal infrastructure of all Hawaiian Islands. * WHEN...During the afternoon hours this weekend into early next week. * IMPACTS...Flooding of beaches that are normally dry, minor coastal erosion, and saltwater inundation. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Avoid driving through flooded roadways. If you are forced to drive through salt water, be sure to rinse your vehicle with fresh water. Move electronics, vehicles or other valuables to higher ground. Monitor vessels to ensure mooring lines don't get too tight and watch out for overwash around boat ramps.
