Special Weather Statement National Weather Service Duluth MN 1119 AM CDT Mon May 25 2026 ...NEAR CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS TODAY FOR THE BRAINERD LAKES...ITASCA...AND KOOCHICHING COUNTY AREAS... Dry conditions with relative humidity values between 20 and 30 percent will lead to near-critical fire weather conditions today. Southwest winds of 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph are forecast. Together, these conditions could lead to the rapid spread of fires. Check burning restrictions and fire danger before burning.
