Special Weather Statement National Weather Service Grand Rapids MI 502 AM EDT Thu Jun 4 2026 ...Elevated Fire Danger Along and North of US-10 Today... The combination of drying fuels, low relative humidity, and gusty winds will result in elevated fire danger conditions along and north of US-10 today. Southwest winds between 5-15 mph will gust to 20-25 mph this afternoon. Relative humidity values as low as 30 percent are expected. These conditions support the quick start and spread of wildfires, so be sure to take the proper precautions. Humidity values are expected to be higher on Friday.
