URGENT - FIRE WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Las Vegas NV 1218 AM PDT Mon Jun 8 2026 ...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM PDT /10 AM MST/ THIS MORNING TO 9 PM PDT /9 PM MST/ TUESDAY FOR STRONG WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITY FOR MOHAVE COUNTY AND THE NEVADA SIDE OF THE COLORADO RIVER VALLEY... * TIMING...Until 11 PM PDT / MST this evening, and then again from 10 AM PDT / MST Monday through 9 PM PDT / MST Tuesday. * WIND...Southwest winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. * HUMIDITY...5 to 15 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now...or will shortly.
