Patchy dense fog has developed early this morning across portions of eastern Iowa, reducing visibility to a quarter mile. The patchy dense fog will continue for the next couple of hours before improving between 8 AM and 9 AM. If traveling early this morning, be prepared for rapid changes in visibility over short distances. When encountering dense fog, slow down and use low-beam headlights.
