URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Tulsa OK 1152 PM CDT Wed Jun 10 2026 ...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM TO 6 PM CDT THURSDAY... * WHAT...Heat index values up to 105 expected. * WHERE...Portions of east central and northeast Oklahoma. * WHEN...From 2 PM to 6 PM CDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses are possible especially impacting those not acclimated to the conditions or those performing strenuous activities. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
