Severe Weather Statement National Weather Service Baltimore MD/Washington DC 845 PM EDT Thu Jun 11 2026 ...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 930 PM EDT FOR ST. MARYS...EAST CENTRAL HOWARD...CALVERT...BALTIMORE...EASTERN PRINCE GEORGES...ANNE ARUNDEL...HARFORD...CECIL...CHARLES...SOUTHERN STAFFORD...KING GEORGE AND NORTHEASTERN SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTIES... BALTIMORE CITY AND THE CITY OF FREDERICKSBURG... At 844 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Jarrettsville to Pasadena to Crofton to 6 miles northwest of Prince Frederick to near Colonial Beach, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Emergency Management has reported many instances of trees down with this line of storms. IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by downed trees. Localized power outages are possible.
