URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Fort Worth TX 125 PM CDT Fri Jun 12 2026 ...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 9 PM CDT SATURDAY... * WHAT...Heat index values of 100 to 105 expected on Saturday. * WHERE...Tarrant, Dallas, Wise, Denton, Collin, Hunt, Parker, Hood, Somervell, Johnson, Ellis, Rockwall, Navarro, and Kaufman counties. * WHEN...From noon to 9 PM CDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat-related illnesses. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Those who will be participating in activities outside with large crowds should take extra precautions to protect themselves and others from heatstroke and heat exhaustion. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside.
