Southern Montgomery County in southwestern Virginia... * Until 715 PM EDT. * At 618 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Pulaski, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Christiansburg... Radford... Pulaski... Dublin... Floyd... Pilot... and Indian Valley. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds, as well as deadly cloud to ground lightning.
