Northern Blanco County in south central Texas... Northeastern Hays County in south central Texas... Southern Travis County in south central Texas... * Until 1000 AM CDT. * At 724 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Numerous low water crossings are closed and water rescues have taken place in northwest Austin. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.
