Hottest Wednesday and Thursday. * WHERE...Eastern San Fernando Valley, Eastern San Gabriel Mountains, Los Angeles County San Gabriel Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, Western San Fernando Valley, and Western San Gabriel Mountains and Highway 14 Corridor. * WHEN...From Tuesday morning through Thursday evening. * IMPACTS...There is a high risk for dangerous heat illness for anyone, especially for the very young, the very old, those without air conditioning, and those active outdoors. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Temperatures are expected to cool slightly after Thursday but will remain well above normal through next weekend.
