Central Decatur County in central Indiana... * Until 400 AM EDT Monday. * At 630 PM EDT, emergency management reported the imminent failure of Lake McCoy Dam. HAZARD...Flash flooding from the imminent controlled breach of Lake McCoy Dam. SOURCE...Emergency management reported. IMPACT...Flooding of areas downstream from the Lake McCoy Dam along Cobbs Fork. This includes the following streams and drainages... Jordan Creek, Cobbs Fork and Sand Creek. The flood wave will move down Cobbs Fork beginning at Boulevard Road...crossing Indiana Route 46 to the south. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
