Flood Advisory National Weather Service Chicago IL 756 PM CDT Sun Jun 21 2026 ...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM CDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of southern Cook and northern Lake, IN counties. * WHEN...Until 1100 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Underpasses may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 754 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicate around 1.5 inches of rain have fallen over the past few hours due to persistent, steady rainfall. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area.
