URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Seattle WA 220 AM PDT Mon Jun 22 2026 ...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING TO 11 PM PDT WEDNESDAY... * WHAT...Hot conditions with high temperatures in the 80s today and Wednesday with highs in the lower 80s to lower 90s Tuesday. Low temperatures in the mid 50s to lower 60s. This will pose a moderate risk of heat-related illness. * WHERE...Eastern Kitsap County, City of Seattle, Downtown Everett / Marysville Area, Eastside, Foothills and Valleys of Central King County, Foothills and Valleys of Pierce and Southern King Counties, Foothills and Valleys of Snohomish and Northern King Counties, Lowlands of Pierce and Southern King Counties, and Shoreline / Lynnwood / South Everett Area. * WHEN...From 11 AM this morning to 11 PM PDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Heat will significantly increase the risk of heat-related illnesses for those who are sensitive to heat, especially those without effective cooling or adequate hydration. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Young children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles under any circumstances. Take extra precautions if you work or spend time outside. When possible reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing when possible. To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments.
