URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Duluth MN 734 AM CDT Mon Jun 22 2026 ...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM CDT THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Visibility to one quarter of a mile in dense fog. * WHERE...In Minnesota, Carlton and South St. Louis Counties. In Wisconsin, Ashland, Bayfield, Douglas, and Iron Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the northwestern area of the Lac du Flambeau Band, the Red Cliff Band, the Bad River Reservation and the Fond du Lac Band. Other locations including the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore and Madeline Island. * WHEN...Until 11 AM CDT this morning. * IMPACTS...Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Very localized around Lake Superior, but where it is occurring it is quite dense. Impacting Highway 2 and US 53. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If driving, slow down, use your low-beam headlights and fog lights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
