URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Portland OR 1011 AM PDT Mon Jun 22 2026 ...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM PDT TUESDAY... * WHAT...Temperatures up to 91 to 94 degrees expected. * WHERE...Lower Columbia River and Cowlitz River Valleys, Portland West Hills and Chehalem Mountain, North Clark County Lowlands, and South Washington Cascade Foothills. * WHEN...Until 11 PM PDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in a cool place during the heat of the day, stay out of the sunshine, and check up on relatives and neighbors. For those without air conditioning, use fans to keep air moving. Keeps windows closed during the day and open at night, unless air quality is degraded due to wildfire smoke.
