URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Pittsburgh PA 130 AM EDT Tue Jun 30 2026 ...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING TO 10 PM EDT FRIDAY... * WHAT...Heat index values up to 105 expected with limited relief during the overnight hours. * WHERE...Portions of northwest, southwest, and western Pennsylvania and northern and the northern panhandle of West Virginia. * WHEN...From 11 AM this morning to 10 PM EDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
