The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment has issued the following... WHAT...Action Day for Multiple Pollutants. WHERE...Douglas, Jefferson, Denver, western Arapahoe, western Adams, Broomfield, Boulder, Larimer, and Weld Counties WHEN...400 PM Wednesday July 01 to 400 PM Thursday July 02 IMPACTS...Action Day for Multiple Pollutants is now in effect for the Front Range Urban Corridor. Elevated levels of Multiple Pollutants will remain possible in the northern Front Range region through Thursday afternoon. Concentrations of both ozone and fine particulates may reach the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups category at times on Wednesday and Thursday. For Colorado air quality conditions, forecasts, and advisories, visit: https://www.colorado.gov/airquality/colorado_summary.aspx If possible, please help us reduce ozone pollution by limiting driving gas and diesel-powered vehicles until at least 4 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2026. Colorado is also addressing ozone pollution through state policies. Consider relocating temporarily if smoke is present indoors and is making you ill. If visibility is less than 5 miles in smoke in your neighborhood, smoke has reached levels that are unhealthy.
