Cape Girardeau County in southeastern Missouri... Northwestern Scott County in southeastern Missouri... * Until 700 AM CDT. * At 314 AM CDT, trained weather spotters reported flash flooding in vehicles submerged in Cape Girardeau and multiple roads flooded in Scott County. Between 2 and 4.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain. SOURCE...Trained spotters reported.
