URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Flood Watch National Weather Service Wilmington OH 1038 AM EDT Sat Jul 11 2026 ...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...The following counties, in Indiana, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and the following counties, in Ohio, Butler, Clinton, Fayette, Greene, Hamilton, Montgomery, Preble and Warren. * WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A very moist environment and the potential for training storms will lead to rainfall of 1 to 3 inches with locally 4 inches or more. This rainfall will lead to the potential for flash flooding. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... People in the watch area, especially those living in areas prone to flooding, should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
