URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Cheyenne WY 1144 AM MDT Sat Jul 11 2026 ...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT MDT TUESDAY NIGHT... * WHAT...Afternoon temperatures will be near or exceed 100 degrees with overnight temperatures dipping to between 65 to 70, providing little relief. * WHERE...Portions of panhandle Nebraska and east central and southeast Wyoming. * WHEN...Until midnight MDT Tuesday Night. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and poor hydration may cause heat illnesses or injuries. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
