Heat index values between 97 and 103 expected. Overnight temperatures Monday night will struggle to get below 75 degrees. The hottest conditions are expected away from the immediate lakeshores. * WHERE...A portion of Northern Lower Michigan. * WHEN...From noon today to 8 AM EDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside.
