URGENT - FIRE WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Duluth MN 242 AM CDT Mon Jul 13 2026 ...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING TO 10 PM CDT THIS EVENING FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR NORTH- CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST MINNESOTA.... * AFFECTED AREA...In Minnesota, North Itasca, Central St. Louis, Southern Lake, Southern Cook, North Cass, South Itasca and Carlton and South St. Louis. * WINDS...Southwest 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 25 percent. * IMPACTS...The rapid spread of any fires may occur due to the forecast weather conditions and dry fuels per guidance from local land management agencies. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Red Flag Warning on Monday means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly.
