URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Great Falls MT 1203 AM MDT Sat Aug 1 2026 ...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON SATURDAY TO 3 AM MDT SUNDAY... * WHAT...High temperatures up to 102 degrees expected. * WHERE...Portions of central, north central, and southwest Montana. * WHEN...From noon Saturday to 3 AM MDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. If you must spend time outdoors, wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
